NICK RICKE
Nick Ricke is a 1979 graduate of Edgewood High School participating in football, basketball, and track & field all four years of high school. He received a Varsity letter in all three sports during his sophomore, junior, and senior years. In football, he was named captain and MVP in 1979, 1st team MML, and 1st team all district. He was also named captain in basketball. In track & field, he was named 1st team MML, and earned district champion in the long jump and pole vault events. He was a state finalist in both long jump and pole vault in 1978 and still holds the pole vault record for Edgewood. Nick went on to attend the University of Dayton where he was a four-year letterman in football. He and his teammates were Division III National Champions in 1980 and Runners Up in 1981. Nick graduated with a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Dayton in 1983. Nick and his wife, Durona have two sons. They reside in Midlothian, Texas, where he is a Regional Manager Employee Relations for ABF Freight. |
