Larry Million, Trenton Class of 1970, participated in Baseball, Basketball and Volleyball during his high school career, earning both All League and All County distinctions. As a pitcher and first baseman in Baseball, he was invited to the Connie Mack League following graduation.
As a three-year starter in Basketball, he led his team to regional play his Senior year becoming District Champions, but ultimately losing to the State Champions, Lincoln Heights. He tallied over 1,000 career points, including a record 45 points in a single game. He was named 1st team SOC as well as to the Associated Press Class A District 1st team both his Junior and Senior year. In Volleyball, his team became the Southwestern Ohio Conference champs both his Junior and Senior year, never losing a league game throughout both seasons. During his senior year, the team went undefeated. Following graduation, he was awarded a full basketball scholarship to Eastern Illinois University where he was the first Freshman to start Varsity. In 1974, he was voted into the Outstanding College Athletes of America. Larry and his family currently reside in Trenton. |
