A 2008 graduate of Edgewood High School, Johnathan Elder not only excelled in athletics but also in the classroom where he earned an overall G.P.A. of 3.9. A four-year letterman in Baseball, he played Varsity Baseball as a freshman. Johnathan excelled in Football, becoming Edgewood’s all time leading rusher with 4,034 yards in his four-year career. He was a three-year starter on Varsity, leading his team to back- to-back FAVC championship titles. He earned multiple 1st team All-Conference honors. Not only did he break Edgewood’s rushing record, but he also broke David White’s career touchdown record of 51 touchdowns and Edgewood’s all- purpose rushing record at over 5,200. He was also selected to participate in the East/West All Star Football game his senior year. Following high school, Johnathan earned a football scholarship to attend Ashland University but elected to attend Miami University for course study. Johnathan and his wife, Haley, are the parents of two children, Willow and Penelope. A resident of Seven Mile, Ohio, Johnathan is a Production Manager for Advanced Drainage Systems. In his spare time, he enjoys golf, watching sporting events, spending time with his family, and cheering on his Maize and Blue Michigan Wolverines. |
