Dan Derickson is a 1970 graduate of Trenton High School where he participated in Baseball, Basketball, Volleyball, Cross Country, and Track.
As part of the Volleyball team during his junior and senior years, his team earned league championships both years and went undefeated his senior year. In Basketball, Dan was Trenton High School basketball’s career scoring leader with 1,099 points. He was named to the Class A District Tournament first team during his senior year and received All District Honorable Mention as well. Following graduation, Dan received a scholarship to play basketball at Eastern Illinois University, ultimately graduating with a B.S. degree in Political Science. He was employed at Parker Hannifin Corporation, retiring as a National Sales Manager. Dan and his wife, Sandy, have two children, Kyle and Kara and four grandchildren, Dylan, Brayden, Vivian, and Soren. Dan and Sandy reside in Naples, Florida, where he enjoys golf, playing the piano, and working out. |
