A 1992 graduate of Edgewood, Jeff Adams earned four varsity letters in Track & Field and three varsity letters in both Football and Wrestling. He holds the quickest pin record in school history at 10 seconds and was a three-year district qualifier for Wrestling. In Track, he was a State qualifier, placing 7th overall in Shot Put and continues to hold the record for the longest shot put distance for a Freshman at 42' 8". He was twice named All League and All District in Football and his senior year was named as 2nd team, All State. He is one of the Edgewood few who was named and played in the Ohio North/South All-Star Football game.
Following graduation, Jeff received an athletic scholarship to Ashland University and was a four-year Varsity Football letterman at Ashland. He was named Offensive Lineman of the Year in 1996 and holds the distinction of never missing a game in high school or college due to injury. He also competed in Wrestling at the college level while working and pursuing his degree in Sports Management. Following his graduation from Ashland, Jeff attended Miami University to obtain his Special Education teaching license. He later earned his Master of Education from Indiana Wesleyan University. He has worked as a Special Education Teacher at both Edgewood and Madison. Jeff, his wife Alicia, and their two sons currently live in Trenton. |
