Brad Reckart, Class of 1995, earned three varsity letters in both Basketball and Baseball while attending Edgewood. In addition to earning numerous league honors, he led Butler County in scoring during the 1993-1994 season as a sophomore and was an All-State Honorable Mention for Basketball his senior year.
In Baseball, he again received numerous league recognitions, including the MML Player of the Year during his senior year. During his junior year, he received All-State Honorable Mention and during his senior year, he received All-State Special Mention. He was named to and play- ed in both Basketball and Baseball All-Star games during his senior year. He was named Edgewood Male Senior Athlete of the Year in 1995. Following graduation, Brad attended Miami University Hamilton where he continued his Basketball career. In 2012, he was selected as an inductee into the Miami University Hamilton Hall of Fame for his Basketball accomplishments. With 2,759 points, he was not only Miami University Hamilton's leading scorer, he was also the ORCC Conference all time leading scorer. He earned multiple MVP and Player of the year awards from the ORCC Conference. After graduating from Miami Hamilton, Brad began his career as a professional Softball player and has earned numerous awards and accolades including six World Titles and MVP of the 2012 NSA Super World Series. Brad resides in Trenton with his family and is currently employed as a Project Estimator for Superior Property Restoration, LLC. |
